Rachael Ballard

Rachael Ballard is the Executive Assistant/Receptionist at Reno & Cavanaugh.  Her responsibilities include assisting Managing Member Megan Glasheen, production of responses to Requests for Proposals, assisting in business development projects, weekly inventories and reception duties.  Rachael graduated in May of 2007 from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, with majors in Spanish and Foreign Affairs. She served as an intern in Senator Edward M. Kennedy's Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Office in Washington, D.C. during the spring semester of 2006, an experience which served as a springboard for her independent study on U.S. Immigration Policy completed at UVA in the fall of 2006.  Rachael is originally from Ridgefield, CT.

  

 
Page Droessler
 
Page Droessler is a Legal Assistant with Reno & Cavanaugh.  Page graduated from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, with a major in English, a minor in Political Communication, and was one of eleven students chosen to participate in the University’s well-known Global Affairs Washington Semester.  Her responsibilities at the firm include providing support to attorneys and paralegals, saving and editing documents, maintaining evidentiary checklists, and helping to prepare various documents and binders for multiple submissions and closings.  Prior to coming to Reno & Cavanaugh, Page worked as an intern for Symantec Corporation’s Internal Communications Department for two years, as well as the Cyber Security Industry Alliance in Arlington, VA.  Page is originally from Newport News, VA.

 

Shelly Lawes

Shelly Lawes is a Legal Assistant with Reno & Cavanaugh. Her responsibilities at Reno & Cavanaugh include providing support to attorneys and paralegals by maintaining evidentiary checklists, saving and editing documents, and preparing documents and binders for submissions and closings. Prior to joining the firm, Shelly interned with the Public Defender’s Service where she assisted Trial Division lawyers by locating and interviewing witnesses, performing criminal background checks, and taking detailed witness statements in an effort to help provide quality legal representation. Shelly graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA with degrees in Political Science and English. Shelly is originally from Windsor, CT.


 

Amanda Sallee

Amanda Sallee is a legal Assistant with Reno & Cavanaugh.  Her responsibilities at Reno & Cavanaugh include providing support to attorneys and paralegals by maintaining evidentiary checklists, editing and saving documents, and preparing document binders for submissions and closings. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda interned with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service where she aided the Special Agents of Code 10 in tracking, deploying, and bringing home agents from across the globe.  Amanda graduated with honors from American University in Washington, DC with degrees in Political Science and Justice with an emphasis on Capital Punishment. Amanda is originally from Travis AFB, CA.


 

Kiran Uppal

Kiran Uppal is a Legal Assistant with Reno & Cavanaugh. Her responsibilities include providing support to attorneys by maintaining evidentiary checklists, saving and editing documents, and preparing document binders for submissions and closings. Kiran graduated in May 2007 with honors from Nottingham Trent University with an LLB. Prior to joining R&C, Kiran lived in Dublin, Ireland for 5 years where she focused on European Union Law and International Law. Kiran is originally from Orange County, CA.
