Legislation and Policy Regulatory Issues Management Reform and Receiverships Once legislation is enacted, Reno & Cavanaugh helps to shape how the law works in practice, by participating vigorously in the administrative law process and by assisting its clients with program and policy implementation and reform. Reno & Cavanaugh regularly deals with implementation issues surrounding HUD, IRS, HHS, and DOT regulations and advocates for regulatory changes. Our firm also assists clients through audits by the HUD Office of Inspector General (OIG) concerning procurement, use of federal funds, agency affiliates, and other matters reviewed by OIG or by HUD's Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC).
