Reno & Cavanaugh has expertise in federal funding made available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“ARRA”). We were actively involved in the drafting of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“ARRA”) and can advise clients on the various affordable housing and community development funding programs in ARRA, including changes to the Low-income Housing Tax Credit program, the additional capital funding made available to public housing authorities, project-based assistance, Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding, energy retrofit and green investments, CDBG funding, and HOME funds. We have represented and continue to represent a range of public agencies, private developers, and municipalities on federal statutory and regulatory requirements. We provide legal assistance to clients in obtaining grants, understanding and complying with federal rules and regulations, structuring and closing on financing, and implementing projects.
