Reno & Cavanaugh worked with this client to replace a 256 unit deteriorating, barracks-style public housing development that had only 170 occupied units with 245 new rental and homeownership units that will relate to the architectural character of the surrounding Fair Haven community. Funds for the new housing came from a HOPE VI grant, public housing capital funds, low income housing tax credit equity, the City of New Haven, and local financial institutions.
